That is why it is important to use a National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) facility that has a record of the uncertainty obtained during the accreditation process. This correlation process reflects on absolute accuracy and uncertainty, as compared directly to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).
NVLAP accreditation requires an annual renewal to guarantee continued calibrator performance. In addition, our primary standard calibrators are checked monthly using correlation standards to detect system integrity throughout the year.
